FISHBONES SPECIES

Fishbones are rabbit-like creatures that are mostly active from dusk till dawn. They can be found around any natural source of water. Fishbones can see in the dark, which helps them as they're mostly nocturnal.

They are omnivores; eating whatever they can find. Individuals may lean towards either meat or plants, but cannot survive off just one type.

A healthy Fishbone will have a large litter of Kits, and will stay with them until they mature and then the young ones go off to find their own homes.




Their eyes give off a subtle glow and a black liquid constantly drips from one of their eyes. Which eye it is varies from each one. Their masks and tails are generally lighter coloured, darker coloured ones are rarer. Their eyes are generally three shades of one colour. However; they can have multi-coloured eyes. Having one eye different from the other is a rare mutation.
The fluff around their neck and on their butts are the same colour, as are the mask and the tail.
Their fur can be any colour with any markings.
They are, on average, about the size of a European Rabbit.

Albinos and Melanistic Fishbones have been reportedly seen, so it is possible. Of course, they are extremely rare.




Their behaviour really depends on the individual, though most males are known to be rather territorial, and aggressive during breeding season.
Like cats, they have retractable claws and will use them if needed. Some prefer flight over fight, which tends to work as they are quite quick and small enough to generally lose their enemies good enough to get away.


They are known for keeping collections of things, mostly bones or shiny objects.










Fishbones are a semi-closed species. What this means is that you may make ONE Fishbone for free, and it must be accepted by me. Any others must be acquired from me!


No one else may make adoptables of this species or make profits off of them.
You MAY breed your Fishbones with other Fishbones if it's either for free/draw to adopt, or roleplay/story based.
